With over 60 employees, SM France, has been creating commercial table tops for nearly 45 years. Based in Rochefort-sur mer, near La Rochelle, 30 minutes from Cognac and 1h 30mn from Bordeaux their production facility is 33,000m2 and capable of producing over 500,000 table tops per year.
SM France’s “laminate-molded” table tops for the hospitality and catering industry, are made of wood, glues and papers. The technique of molding and lamination by hot pressing gives the product qualities unmatched to date, especially in terms of weather resistance.

Seeing a short fall in strength and reliability in hospitality table bases, Durafurn went about creating connections with international and local furniture manufacturers and established working relationships which saw several new products designed and existing products upgraded.
